Ingredients:
- 1 block of firm tofu, pressed and cut into cubes
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon of gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of grated ginger
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 carrot, sliced
- 1 cup of snow peas
- Cooked rice, for serving
- Sesame seeds and green onions, for garnish
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, sesame oil, gochujang, honey, garlic, and ginger. Set aside.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat some oil over medium-high heat. Add the tofu cubes and cook until they are golden brown on all sides. Remove the tofu from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add more oil if needed and sauté the bell peppers, onion, carrot, and snow peas until they are tender-crisp.
- Add the tofu back to the skillet and pour the sauce over the tofu and veggies. Stir well to coat everything in the sauce.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
