Ingredients:
- 1 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup of chopped bamboo shoots
- 1/4 cup of chopped water chestnuts
- 1 green onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Wonton wrappers
- Cornstarch for dusting
Instructions:
- Finely chop the shrimp and mix with bamboo shoots, water chestnuts, green onion, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
- Place a spoonful of the shrimp mixture onto a wonton wrapper.
- Brush the edges of the wrapper with water, fold over, and pinch to seal.
- Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
- Steam the dumplings for about 8-10 minutes until cooked through.
- Serve hot with soy sauce or chili oil for dipping.
